About John Taylor Dr. John Taylor holds degrees in economics from Princeton and Stanford. He served as a staff economist on the Council of Economic Advisors under President Ford and as a member of the CEA under President George H.W. Bush. He also served as the undersecretary of the Treasury for international affairs during the first term of President George W. Bush. He is the author of numerous books, including Global Financial Warriors: The Untold Story of International Finance in the post-9/11 World.
